One of my most recent pieces and winner of an art challenge over on the IFX forums. The title of the challenge was 'The Laboratory'.
I like to leave the reasoning behind the title as a secret to help add a sense of mystery to it and make people search every inch of the picture to try and find out why it might be titled so.
I have my reason and if you want to check I'm not bluffing please feel free to email me about it
Abandonment and neglect are probably my reasons for the title. Then you had this green hue that evokes many moods and mysteries. It's one of the reasons why this piece strikes a lot of chords.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I like the atmosphere.
The title is great.
I think he wanted to cure his friend from his irremediable disease in the glass cylinder, but something went terribly wrong and he made him a monster.
