Personal work. Both have their good and bad points I feel. I'll learn consistency one day.

Update:
Now with musical accompaniment

Hey there! I find that your work is really, really beautiful. Something that I can easily see by seeing this image is that you have your own personal style in environment concepts, which is simply breathtaking.

I don't have that much of a experience, but something I think that can help is that you can put a little more focus to a certain area of the image. The second image clearly has a focus, but maybe the first one lacks it a bit.

Still, I think you really made a nice use of colors in those paintings, they make them really rich!

Lastly, this is really inspiring, and it's certainly going to my favorites. Congratulations!

consistancy?.... NATURE IS NOT CONSISTENT, it is a bold mess of beauty strewn together from millennia of turmoil and reclamation.

and you render it perfectly.

SO MUCH BEAUTY...

Screw consistency! Your works always blow me away partly because of their unique, mould-breaking impact!

I love seeing you in my deviation stacks! You've certainly been proactive of late.

Thank you cradlesong. That's very heartening to hear.

Yeah I made a conscious decision to focus more on concept art/design instead of illustration about a year ago. Since then I've been trying to increase my productivity by always working on multiple pieces at once. I knew it was my weakest area and my old workflow just wouldn't cut it if I ever wanted to get full time work in the industry. I think I'm getting there but because I haven't quite nailed a process yet the consistency in the work isn't where I'd personally like it to be. I think it'll will all come together with time though.

Thanks for sticking with me!

Thank YOU for doing what you do. If anyone deserves to make it out there, you do.
