Look at the mess they've made! Well I'm not clearing it up.
Very loosely based around the idea that a battle can be fought in the mind before a single blow is even dealt. Whether the destruction they've caused is in their minds or they're genuinely trying to psych each other out with a display of inhuman force i'll leave open for interpretation.
I'm trying out a slightly different way of painting thanks to the awesome Feng Zhu. It's been great fun so far and feels like a very natural progression of my typical style but I think it's going to take a bit of practice to really polish it off.

Wow! I love it so much! It is epic - wonderful effects, space, atmosphere. I'm going to see your other paintings to check what Feng Zhu changed for you I watch his tutorials all the time
I've been a fan of his for awhile but only just discovered his video tutorials. They've really opened my eyes as to what I've been neglecting or forgotten to consider when painting, as well as the bad habits I've picked up going the route of self taught. I'm busy practicing myself out of them at the moment. Hopefully it'll show when I post some more things in the future. Thank you for the kind words.
His lessons are priceless and you show a great progress here. But be careful - Feng Zhu has a very special style, don't forget to develop your own. Art is such a sensitive matter - it's important to learn the rules - and to know to break them intentionally.
